Anything to do with deal-finding is right up my alley, but JoeShopping.com is so much more. It is actually a social network themed around shopping.

Here are some of favorite features:

The $1,000 Monthly JoeShopping Sweepstakes: Of course this is my favorite! This promotion is a random drawing. You earn JoePoints just by using the social network side of the site. (Upload a photo, write a blog post, write a shopping status, etc.) You can earn points throughout the entire month. At the end of the month, your total points are converted to entries in the sweeps. So the more active on the site you are, the more points you earn and therefore the better your chances are of winning. Since this is still a newer website, the odds are really in your favor!

Earn badges: I have a thing for badges. They are basically just fun little pictures that you can earn for doing various activities on the site. They are displayed on your page to show off your achievements.

All-in-one product info: Read reviews, see pictures, get opinions and find the best price on a product all in one place. Sometimes when you find a product that you may be interested in, it can take all day just to research it and make sure it’s a good buy. JoeShopping can really save you time and aggravation.

Forums: Even more valuable coupon codes, hot deals and general discussion can be found on the forum page. Feel free to chime in with any of your finds or opinions!

Coupons: Not only will you find some great coupon codes, but you can also print grocery coupons.

Next, I thought I would hunt for a deal to test it out. I recently purchased Bare Minerals makeup from Sephora (before I was aware of JoeShopping) and wanted to see if I had made a good decision. All you have to do is type in the name of the product in the bar.

You can narrow your search by category, store and price range.

It looks like I did make a good decision by shopping at Sephora after all!
