NeoStrata Bio-Hydrating Cream

Having already had the pleasure of trying products from NeoStrata, I am eager to review any of their skin care line.  However, I was a little apprehensive about this one because of the words “hydrating” and “cream”.  With my oily skin I try to avoid additional hydration and creams are usually way too heavy for me.  Thankfully, I still took them up on their offer!

I need to be reminded often that even though my skin is oily, I still require proper hydration.  Especially because I am starting to show signs of aging, too.  This product contains Polyhydroxy Acids which are great for both.  They make the skin’s protective barrier stronger and keep it well hydrated.  They are also powerful antioxidants which help with signs of aging.

As far as my worry of it being a cream goes, I was pleasantly surprised.  It is light and absorbs quickly.  No greasy feeling afterward.  I am even comfortable enough to wear it during the day under my makeup.  It feels extremely soothing and healing on my face.  It has little to no scent, which I prefer, as well.  It even says on the package that it is ideal for adult acne, so I feel very safe using it.

I have been using the product for over a week now and have experienced some positive results.  I notice that some of the flaking that I had from using acne medications has gone away and my skin looks healthier.  I guess my skin was pretty dry (even though it’s oily) because now it appears more hydrated to me.  This is definitely a product I will continue using.
