Review ~ Skintactix Clear Skin Challenge

Well, as you probably already know if you read this blog, I struggle with my oily and acne prone skin.  I am just naturally an oilier person and it drives me crazy.  I love to review new skin care lines to see if they can help me out.  I took the Skintactix clear skin challenge which consisted of me using the products for one month.  I chose to review the kit for oily skin.

This program includes a 3 step process.

Step #1:  Glycolic Cleanser – I have always responded well to anything containing Glycolic acid, so that was a good sign right from the start.  The cleanser feels amazing when I wash my face with it.  It glides on smoothly and has just enough of a tiny sting to let you know it’s working.  My skin feels very clean after using it.  In no way does it burn or feel too harsh at all.

Step #2:  Glycolic Exfoliator – I always use too much of this!  You only need a very thin layer.  I love the smell of this one and it feels great going on.  It feels like it wakes up my face a little and makes it feel refreshed.

Step #3:  Green Tea Poultice – The texture of this is very strange to me.  Kind of like clay.  I had to be careful with it because I have such a bad habit of using too much.  If you use too much of step #2, step #3 will not absorb well.  It balls up and does not absorb well at all.  Since I had an issue with this, I only used it at night before bed.  That way I did not have to worry about messing up my morning make-up routine before work.

Overall I definitely noticed an improvement in my skin.  A lot less breakouts and I even felt like I was less oily.  I never felt dried out or saw any irritation to my face at all.  Definitely not too strong of a product for me.  Perhaps I would have even liked it stronger!  I would say that after one month of use, I do like this skin care line.  If you struggle with acne, I would suggest trying it.  You have nothing to lose, anyway.  If you don’t like it, there is a 30 day money back guarantee.
