Baby K’Tan Baby Carrier
Baby K’Tan was started by two couples who had searched the carriers that were on the market and they were unable to find their ideal carrier. They set out to create a carrier that would satisfy the needs of their children and at the same time one that would combine comfort, ease of use and style! They created what is known as the Baby K’Tan carrier, which is a cross between a sling and a more structured front baby carrier.
The Baby K’Tan carriers are made of 100% cotton knit fabric that is able to hold newborns all the way through 42 pounds! It consists of two loops of fabric that are connected with a sliding support band. This carrier can be used in 8 positions. Babies can be breastfed and comforted in the Cradle and Explore positions. They can be carried upright, facing in or out and as they grow, they can even be carried on your hip!
My experience with this carrier has been amazing! I love how EASY it is compared to other baby wraps/carriers we’ve used! It is the absolute easiest carrier to use out of the five brands I have tried. You simple put the loops over your head, put part of each loop under each arm and you can put baby right in! It keeps baby close to me and is very secure. One of the other wraps we have tried, which is similar to this type of carrier, I felt like baby was loose and going to fall if I leaned the wrong way. I never felt that way with this carrier. It is very comfortable, the material is soft and again, it’s incredibly easy to use! The carrier also comes with a matching hat for baby! The instructions for each position are right on their website, easy for anytime access!
The one thing that is different about this carrier from the others we have used is that it is a sized carrier. It comes in four different sizes, XS through XL. It’s very easy to find your size on their sizing chart and for me it was very accurate. I do love that it is available in the classic version we reviewed, as well as organic cotton and half mesh/half cotton. Those are great options that allow for anyone to find the carrier of their choice! They also have various colors available, that’s always fun!
