SIMON Flash Review

SIMON Flash

Remember the game SIMON?  If you grew up in the 80s like me you should.  It was a pretty popular game.  Now the folks at Hasbro, Inc. have updated it with a fun new spin – SIMON Flash! Product was received for review purposes and this post may contain affiliate links.

Using “Wonder-link” technology, the new SIMON Flash is four games in one.  All sure to get your memory working and your whole family playing!  It’s made up of four tiles that neatly store away in a carrying case.  This also makes it ideal for traveling.  Each cube is a different color and you can choose from four different games:

Simon Classic – Repeat the sequence of colored lights.

Simon Shuffle – A pattern will appear in a flash, but then shuffle and the challenge is to get them back to where they were.

Simon Lights Off – A quick game (only 90 seconds) to line up the cubes in the correct order to make all the lights shut off.

Simon Secret Color – Rearrange the cubes until they are all the same color.

With these four games everyone can be busy for hours!  Perfect for long car rides, family game nights, or just anytime.  I am going to make sure to play this with my Grandma.  She has been trying to do memory-boosting exercises and I think that SIMON Flash definitely qualifies.  Keeps you sharp and alert!

Sometimes “remakes” of games are disappointing, but I would consider this one an improvement.  Lots of fun!
