My Review:

AppleCheeks cloth diapering products are designed and manufactured in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They are trim fitting, washable, pocket diapers that will unstuff themselves in the wash! The AppleCheeks diaper covers come in two sizes. Size one will fit babies from approximately 7 – 20 pounds and size two will fit babies from 18 – 40 pounds! We went with the size two since our little guy is about 25 pounds and it fits great! The diaper cover is available in many colors (and even prints!) to make cloth diapering even more fun!

We were sent the AppleCheeks Little Bundle set for review. This included the Wild Child print cover and a two ply bamboo insert. The insert consists of 70% rayon from bamboo and 30% organic cotton fleece. I love that it is available in bamboo! The insert is similar to a prefold in that it folds. It folds into thirds giving you SIX layers of absorbency! And guess what? With six layers, this diaper is STILL trim! I will admit I have seen this diaper for a while online and have thought that it looks a bit girly because of the way it looks around the edges, but when I put it on our little guy all of those thoughts were put to shame. It wasn’t girly at all and looked great!

We have recently started moving towards using all natural fibers and bamboo and organic in the cloth diapers we use so I was thrilled at the opportunity to review this diaper. The print is absolutely adorable and the insert is one of the easiest we have! The insert you literally just fold twice and put it in the cover. There is no struggling to get it in, it is easy to use and even agitates out in the wash so you don’t have to worry about touching the wet/dirty insert when doing laundry! That’s a big plus! The laundering of this diaper has been rather easy as well. We did prewash it three times as suggested, but after that nothing special. We simply wash it with the rest of our diaper laundry and haven’t had any problems. It even dries pretty quickly compared to some of our other diapers.

The fit of this diaper is the topping on the cake! It’s incredible! This has easily become one of my favorite diapers to use and one of the first ones I reach for when all diapers are clean.

You can see in the above picture that the fit is great! The print is ADORABLE and fun!

The side fit looks great too! The legs fit perfectly…no room for leaks. In fact, we’ve used this diaper multiple times and have yet to have any kind of leak. You can even see that the diaper has a trim fit!

Final thoughts from this cloth diapering mama: Again, I absolutely love this diaper and believe every cloth diapering mama should treat themselves to an AppleCheeks diaper! It is super cute, trim, absorbent, and fits great! The ONLY negative I could find with this diaper is the price. It is a bit pricey, definitely worth it, but now I have to figure out how I can get more!
