Linwoods – Your Link To Good Food: Review + Giveaway

ground seedsLinwoods sent me a full size package of their Ground Flaxseed Sunflower Pumpkin and Sesame Seeds and Goji Berries. Lush red goji (goh-gee) berries are considered a national treasure in China because of their various health properties. Here Linwoods has paired them up with with flaxseed, pumpkin, sunflower and sesame seeds fabulous natural sources of fiber plus healthy omega-3 fats, vitamins and minerals. This magical blend, that’s low in cholesterol and high in health, can be used in your baking or sprinkled over salad or in your smoothies – it is a very versatile product. Sprinkle liberally to boost your intake of fiber and healthy omega-3. Just 4 spoonfuls gives you 6g of omega-3, which can calm down minor inflammation, balance your immune system and contribute to your healthy heart and brain. Goji berries are packed with antioxidants too that protect and strengthen the immune system so its a great package all the way around.

When I learned about the nutritional powers of flax seed, that was it for me. I started adding it to all our foods where it would benefit and add flavor or weight to the product. I am in love with food, with health, with life, and want to share this with everyone. I do not love any type of genetic modification, hydrogenated fats, refined sugars and other garbage. And you won’t find these in Linwood’s products.

A daily 30g serving provides:

3.4g of Omega 3

I'm a writer. Today I am a food writer, by trade. I also enjoy blogging about parenting, and reviewing really cool products and services. I travel often and our family has lived all over the globe. I am the daughter of a drummer. I’m the wife of a tattooed, bass playing, graphic guru. I’m the mother of 8, but 'Mom' to many - and they span a decent demographic. I am a soul sister, and a friend. I believe in attachment parenting and mindful living. I am a "full-term” breast-feeding, child-led weaning, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, peaceful parent and will advocate for all who want to be better people; better parents and create a better world. While always remembering that we don't have to change the world to be important. Just *Love* - all in, all the time.
