Toilet Paper Peeve

Alright people. It’s like this:  I cannot stand when the toilet paper roll is on backwards.

And by backwards, I mean the squares are hanging off the back.

This also applies to paper towels…

Feeling a bit Peeve-ish today… Toilet Paper Peeve

Correct toilet paper form

Right:

Wrong toilet paper form

WRONG:

C’mon. If you are not executing proper TP form, how can you possibly create bliss for your behind like this:

If you prefer your roll to be backwards and I happen to use the washroom at your house, don’t be surprised if I’ve corrected this irritating situation.

Going one step farther–another unforgivable action–if the roll is empty, replace it!

It never ceases to amaze me that people will set the full roll next to the empty one on the hanger.

It takes all of 4 seconds to replace it! And you’re already sitting down!

Does this kind of thing bother anyone else?

😀

Here’s my boyfriend, Chad’s peeve:

butter

When I’m in a hurry to make dinner and need soft butter, I zap it in the microwave for 10 seconds.

But, the bottom portion melts faster, so I end up mutilating the stick. I’m not proud.

But I am mildly entertained at how annoyed Chad gets… O:)

Do you put your toilet paper on the roll the correct way?

The benefit of having it on backwards is that you can get it one-handed. I don't prefer it that way, but I was too lazy to fix it every time my roommate put it up and I managed to learn why they do it.

I get annoyed when people rearrange stuff at my house. Clearly I liked it how it was, don't fuck with it. That's an easy way to come home from holiday and find your furniture bolted to the ceiling.

Oh, I COMPLETELY agree! TP is always supposed to go in the front damn it! LOL

And I just don't understand why people just leave a roll near the toilet instead of taking the 4 seconds to change the roll. Seriously people!? Are you THAT lazy?

I'd love to leave one of those little rabbits or a butterfly for the next guest that uses the bathroom in our house. Hehe ^.^

Not having any TP when I sit down to do my business aggrivates me to no end. As for how it's on the roll, I don't care, but it better be there when I need it.

I have the same issue with butter, but it's me who gets irritated because when it firms up again, that yellow mess all over the container looks disgusting.

I think I've "trained" my husband how to put the TP rolls on correctly - although, I'm the one who usually replaces it! My 4 year-old daughter does tell me if the roll in her bathroom is low. I believe I have "corrected" other people's rolls, too. I thought I was the only one who did this stuff. Turns out, I was just practicing TP etiquette! Yay!

I have corrected TP rolls on numerous occasions at other people's homes--I just assume they didn't understand how TP works.
