Just in time for Valentine’s Day I am thrilled to bring you the review and story of Guylian Belgian Chocolates. The company began in the late 1950′s by a chocolatier named Guy and his new wife, Liliane. The name of the company was formed by combining their names into Guy-lian or Guylian. I was recently given the pleasure of sampling a wonderful variety of Guylian Belgian Chocolates. Being pregnant, chocolate has become something I often want so you can imagine my excitement!

These chocolates are fabulous for Valentine’s gifts for your loved ones! The chocolates have been around more than 50 years and are sold in over 100 countries in Europe, Asia, Australia and America. Guylian Chocolates are all made the Belgian way with 100% pure cocoa butter and have a unique and tasty hazelnut praline filling. They sound incredible, don’t they?

Guylian Belgian Chocolates are not only tasty, but they are beautiful! They are shaped as sea horses and sea shells (other than the sugar-free bars that we received). We received quite the variety of these amazing treats. We received some chocolate truffles, dark chocolate truffles and even some sugar-free milk and dark chocolate bars! The truffles make for a wonderful snack late in the afternoon. Each piece is the perfect size for a bit of chocolate when you have that taste. My father is a diabetic that cannot enjoy chocolates regularly so I let him sample the sugar-free bars. His favorite of the two was the dark chocolate. My husband and I have regularly enjoyed the truffles and plan to get some as gifts for the nurses when I go into labor. We thought that would be the perfect gift for their hard work and again, these are GREAT for Valentine’s gift for those loved ones! Stock up and share the love chocolate!
