My Fifty Shades of Grey Fantasy Cast
Yes, I have jumped on the Fifty Shades of Grey bandwagon. I had to see what all of the fuss was about! I flew through the first two books in two days. They were such an easy read. I am still on third book and have slowed down a bit. This is not a typical genre that I would read, but it’s got that twist to it that I can get into.
I know there has been a lot of controversy around this series, and I am not here to review the books… I want to create my fantasy cast for the movie! As soon as I heard that they will be making a movie I freaked out a little. * Ahem… #firstworldproblems * Yes, I lost a little sleep worried that they will pick the wrong people to play these roles. Well, here are a few people that I would love to see in the movie!
My first choice for Christian Grey is Joseph Morgan. I am like a crazed Bieber fan for this man. I fell in love with him from his role of Klaus on the Vampire Diaries. I think he would make a perfect Mr. Grey because he has mastered all looks – cute, sexy, scary, intense, vulnerable, dominating… oh boy, I NEED him to be in this movie! He’s a true Fifty.
My second choice for Christian is Chris Hemsworth. I think he would fill the role quite well, too. Those eyes are just to die for!
I would also be quite alright with Alexander Skarsgard.
For Anastasia Steele, if I cannot play the role (haha), then I guess I could live with the following lovely ladies…
Jennifer Lawrence would definitely be age appropriate for the role. She’s got the sweet yet sexy look for it, too.
Kristen Stewart kept popping into my head, too. Probably because of all the Twilight similarities, but I really hope they don’t do Kristen and Rob. Kristen could make a good Ana, though.
I also like Amanda Seyfried or Emmy Rossum for the role. These are not very creative… I have seen most of these suggestions online. I can’t really think of anyone on my own because she’s so young!
For Kate Kavanagh I could see Blake Lively.
For Christian’s brother, Elliot, I would love to see Jai Courtney.

I wonder why no one has thought of Cary Mulligan.. she is sweet and sexy and a great actress —I loved her in An Education and that was sort of the same older guy –young innocent girl theme.. of course a very different movie than fifty but I think she could pull it off I do like Emmy Rossum for the part too. I think Blake Lively would be a great Kate
Chris Hemsworth yes great choice for Christian.. best one that has been recommended thus far.. from the looks perspective.. I have never seen him act before so not sure how good he is but this could be a real break through movie for him if he could pull it off..
Joseph Morgan is PERFECT! Im trying my best to get it out there for producers & such to see since he is not on any “main” list.
