So, I met my brothers new girlfriend last summer and soon realized she was VERY into Vera Bradley – she is 22, how did I miss this trend for younger people to have Vera Bradley?! I have always liked the look, but felt like it wasn’t for me – now, thanks to the new girlfriend in my brother’s life, I can like Vera Bradley… ha!
Vera Bradley Bags
Since then, I have had quite a few younger women – college interns in my office, friends and family, and even just seeing people shopping in the Vera Bradley store near me that have helped me realize, I too, can add some Vera Bradley to my already large collection of purses and bags. On top of all of this – my mom now wants to “fit in” and decided she wanted one of their Weekender bags for Christmas. Which is why I was super excited to receive a bag from Vera Bradley that fit just that need! (Mom, DO NOT READ THIS UNTIL CHRISTMAS PLEASE!). What a great Christmas gift idea for the ladies in your life!
Vera Bradley Weekender – $98
The Weekender has five inner pockets, fully zippered front compartment and two back slip pockets. It looks like there is tons of room, and yet the bag does not look too big and bulky to get around. The perfect bag for my mom to come visit me (or for a weekend away with the girls)!
Vera Bradley Lunch Break – $34
This lunch bag from Vera Bradley features a mesh pocket to hold a ice packet, keeping your lunch cool all day, even if there isn’t room in the office fridge. It is a great size for my lunch – but I am trying really hard to keep it as a gift for my brother’s girlfriend this Christmas. ;)
The Vera Bradley website always has some kind of sale going on, and if you join their e-mail club, you will get all kinds of coupon codes. I have been able to pick up a duffel bag for myself on sale – and I am eyeing a bag that I think I will have to add to my Christmas list this year. I might just have to spend some more time on the website to find more gift ideas for the ladies in my life!
