Do you have a photo you have taken along the way that is AMAZING but sitting on your memory card or computer? Or… do you have an empty wall you need to fill with something unique? I found BumbleJax – a digital printing company that makes Acrylic, Bamboo, Aluminum and Gatorfoam mounts with your photos. No frames and matting to match colors and styles, just your amazing photo.
I like the idea of making art of pictures of my own, not because they are particularly amazing, but because I am able to have custom art that means something to me. I would rather have a picture of the Eiffel Tower that I took because it brings back the memory of where I was and who I was with and what we experienced. The same thing with photos of flowers in my backyard and people in my family – it is more exciting to me having the memory of them rather than a bland poster of something.
Bumblejax Acrylic Photo Mounts
Bumblejax worked with me to create an Acrylic Photo Mount – I provided the picture and they did the rest. When it arrived it looked great, and it even included the hardware to hang it up! The Acrylic Photo Mount also mounts away from the wall (with wood spacers) to give it some depth – so it “floats” on your wall – and makes the look even more unique. It is different from a photo canvas because it has a shine to it – so I think it looks more like an art piece.
Bumblejax also has a wide assortment of art from professional photographers that you can have printed for your home – just in case you want something more specific that you don’t already have a picture of – or somewhere you haven’t visited before.

I love these mounts. Today I bought some white board to use in school – I could use these mounts for the white boards.
Are there any issues with reflections with these acrylic picture mounts, hopefully they are just like non reflective glass ?
Hi Angela,
There is a tiny bit of reflection – kind of like glass over a picture in a picture frame – you don’t really notice it unless you are looking for it though.
What a neat idea!
These look like a great idea. I like the acrylic alternative to metal picture mounts. I would much rather use these.
Thanks for letting me know about them
