A good mattress is such an important investment and something to protect.  Your bed is where you spend some of the most crucial hours of each day/night. The first thing I noticed about the AllerZip was how soft, quality, and luxurious it felt.  When I went to place it on the mattress I was pleased to see the zipper went all the way around the encasement, making it very easy to place on the mattress ( I wasn’t looking forward to having to play tug-of-war with the mattress and the encasement – so thankful that I didn’t have to!) After I got it all zipped up I decided to test out the waterproof part of it, so I poured a bit of water right onto the AllerZip, I’m not exactly sure how this Miracle Membrane works..but it sure does! The water was gone in seconds, so I unzipped the encasement, sure that I would find the mattress wet, but it wasn’t- not one drop went through. This will come in handy for when The Lady (our cat) decides to jump in my son’s bed with wet, muddy paws. Next I placed the sheets on the bed and then pressed there I had poured the water, no wetness at all, awesome! My next test was to see how comfortable it was, so laid down on the bed and noticed that it actually made the bed feel more comfortable, nice!  But the real test would come after a few nights of  my son sleeping on it. After the first night he woke up less stuffy, yay!
