Babies are cute and small, but as I am sure people with babies know, or those who do not have children have heard – they have lots of STUFF to tote around with them. For a day trip you can get away with diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, maybe food if they are at that stage, and a couple changes of clothes – but when you start talking a weekend or more – ah! One thing I do not have to worry about when we travel with our baby will be a high chair or somewhere to put baby while I am eating, because I recently got to try out my own My Little Seat.
My Little Seat – Travel Chair for Babies
Created by a mother looking for less to carry around while traveling (and a fashion designer by trade), My Little Seat is a great solution to have along with you. While many restaurants DO have high chairs – many grandparents, friends without babies, aunts, uncles, etc will not. It is suggested for use with children who can already sit up on their own and secures well to just about any chair.
We were excited to strap Zebra baby to his chair for dinner last night, while he doesn’t wiggle too much, he does slide if there is nothing holding him, so now we know he is safely seated!
The chair has two sets of straps to secure around the chair and a five-point harness to help make sure your wiggler stays on the chair. See instructions below from My Little Seat – they even have a video on their website to show you how it works if you need help.
I like that it seems so secure, and the five-point harness will help keep babies from falling over the top of it – I do not know that you would be able to use it for standers or walkers though – might have to move on to a normal chair then. It is small enough to fold up and throw in the diaper bag with everything else – and fabric that is easy to wash.

I am really excited to try it out as we travel!
