As I start researching baby gear for our upcoming addition to our family through adoption – I am finding some pretty cool technology out there for baby. These are things that make life more convenient for parents and/or more comfortable for a little one. I recently received a Snugli All-In-One car seat to review – and the Outlast® technology they use actually helps regulate the temperature of your little one.

Snugli – Baby Car Seat with Temperature Control Technology

The Snugli All-In-One is not only super cute, but the Outlast® technology helps regulate temperature for your little one. The Outlast® technology Fabrics have the ability to absorb and store excess heat, which helps reduce overheating and prevents chilling. Check out the heat map from Snugli – the child on the left has many “hot spots” – and probably was uncomfortable in their hot seat. The child on right right has a much more evened out heat map, and not as many high temps on their body – a much more comfortable ride! Since we have such cold winters and warm summers here in the Midwest, I am excited about the technology to help regulate temperature. I am sure it would be appreciated by anyone though! :)

Along with the Outlast® technology Fabrics, the car seat has to be super comfortable with memory foam padding and plush supports. The all-in-one can keep children safe from 5-110lbs! I also like the infinite slide straps – which keep you from having to re-thread as your child gets bigger.

The car seat IS large, although many All-In-Ones are. It took up much of the back seat – which is fine since we will only have one car seat. And since it is an all-in-one, once I get it installed, it is going to be there for a while, so I don’t really have to worry about lugging it around. I tried out this seat with a toddler – and it was easy to adjust straps as needed to fit (Zebra baby had tried it out first and is much smaller). Simply adjust the headrest and the straps and I was good to go (I had already removed the infant padding).

You can check out the Snugli All-In-One at Snugli.com or take a look at their whole line available through Buy Buy Baby.

  2. Wow that is really neat! Sometimes in the summer I get in the car and my buckle is SO hot to touch – I know the carseats can get really overheated as well so this is definitely a neat feature.
