I have always enjoyed Chicken Soup for the Soul books – they help me realize others are going through many of the same things I am. Sometimes the stories fit what I am going through at the time; sometimes they just speak to me about how I might encourage a friend. Finding my Faith helped me just the same. I was able to find stories that I could share with friends to help them feel as though others have traveled through trials before them and made it out “ok” and closer to God than they had been before. The stories are a reminder that even when people in your life seem distant, you will see that your faith can help carry you through.
