While we prepare our home for babies – there are LOTS of things we need (it is our first, so we didn’t have ANYTHING to start with). We have been trying to find things that are necessary and the things that are… um… useless? space hogging? etc? At first I didn’t think I NEEDED a high chair, but then I realized anything else to put in its place might be annoying. A portable clip on the table one would get to be a nuisance to hook up, and a bouncy chair might be hard to clean out if it gets dirty. I was excited to review the Evenflo ModTot High Chair – it folds up easy and it is ALL super easy to wash up after a messy kid!
Modern ModTot High Chair Just for Trendy Babies
Evenflo has introduced a new high chair called the ModTot – made for babies and parents looking for something a little more trendy for their feeding needs 
. It is a modern look, and I really liked that it didn’t look as “clunky” as most high chairs. I also really liked that the chair pad was easy to clean – and not something I would have to throw in the washing machine or something – just wipe and go since it is a foam pad. The tray is removable but what I hadn’t seen before is a tray insert that is also removable and makes it even easier to grab and shove in the dishwasher – I am all about the easy! The seat also slides up and down along the length of the legs, so it will work at just about any table. The one negative I had was… it took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to put it together. In general it was really easy – but the pictures in the instructions weren’t very clear – so I struggled to follow along. Once I decided to ditch the instructions I did just fine!

This looks like it would take up alot less space than most highchairs. One of my daughters has a highchair that it’s legs stick out so far. So easily tripped by them!

Trendy is nice, but only as long as it’s practical. That high chair looks practical, so that’s A-OK in my book.
