Staying warm during the cold winter months is top priority for me. I hate being cold and really wish that I lived in a warmer climate. Keeping the thermostat turned up is horrible on the budget, so it’s great to be aware of other options. Harman Pellet Stoves can be an excellent alternative.
Warm Up with Harman Pellet Stoves
This was my first time hearing about these pellet stoves, but turns out that they are a popular heating alternative. Not only are they good for your wallet, but also for the environment. The pellets that power the stove are eco-friendly because they are composed of renewable, carbon-neutral products. Using the stove can also save you a lot of money. Check out the infographic to see the impressive stats!
Now, how adorable are these stoves? I would happily have one in my home. I think they look cozy and create a warm ambiance to any room. In fact, we could use something like this on our lower level. I cannot wait to show the hubby. We have been looking for an option for more heat for less expense and without increasing our carbon footprint.
Here’s even more incentive… The federal tax credit on 75 percent efficient biomass heating appliances, which expired on Dec. 31, 2011, was reinstated on Jan. 2, 2013. The bill includes a “tax extender” for Internal Revenue Service Section 25C, which provides a tax credit for, among many other things, qualifying biomass-burning stoves! The extender provides a 10 percent tax credit of up to $300 on a qualifying items.
If you are in the market for an affordable way to keep your house warm, I would definitely look into Harman stoves. The Harman company has been around for over three decades and is a leader in the industry.
