Tell Schwan’s What You Are Thankful For

Many of us know Schwan’s for their yellow delivery trucks, some of us know that they have super yummy food that comes from your freezer and allows for dinner to be on the table in minutes after a hectic day. Right now though, they are launching a nationwide campaign that gives to help fight hunger in America. I am excited to partner with them to share with you their new campaign that gives back – and about some of their new product offerings.

Schwan’s – What Are You Thankful For?

Even though it is not yet Thanksgiving, we can always stop and think about what we are thankful for. Starting August 28th, you can visit Schwan’s on Facebook and tell them what you are thankful for. By doing so, they will make a FIVE-meal donation to Feeding America. Not only that, but they are making a 250,000 meal initial donation – and will have “Thankful Thursdays” that will double the donations made for each person who posts something they are thankful on Facebook on those days. One in six Americans face hunger, and through Feeding America, some of them are able to find relief. You can visit the Schwan’s Thankful page on Facebook to find out more about this promotion.

And the food?! I loved trying their Baked Apple Cinnamon French Toast Sticks and Lasagna Roll-Ups. Each of the items are frozen and can be prepared with my microwave in under a few minutes – or heated in the oven in a little more time, but still under an hour having come straight from the freezer. The Lasagna Roll Ups are packaged individually, and my hubby and I have been able to bring them in our lunch bags and heat them up for 2 min to have something a little gourmet looking than our lunch meat sandwiches at lunch. The Baked Apple Cinnamon French toast sticks are easy to heat, easy to eat on the go (although I don’t know how safe it is to eat and drive… so I am not really suggesting that.)

  1. What a wonderful campaign! I’m popping over there right now to share one of the things I’m thankful for.

Also, baked apple cinnamon french toast? I’m sold. Back to school breakfasts are the hardest, and I’d love to have some more quick options.
