Burning Love Honeymoon Mishap Moments

We had a few honeymoon mishap moments which only added to the memories of our honeymoon. This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links.

Honeymoon Mishap Moments

Selfie of a man and woman.

Mike and I got married on the pirate ship at the Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas. Friends and family flew out to celebrate with us and it was a blast.

For our honeymoon, we decided to just extend our stay in Vegas. Neither of us had ever been there for more than a long weekend, so we wanted to take this opportunity to explore even more.

Mishap #1 would be that Mike woke up with a horrendous cold the morning of our wedding. He was pretty much a snotty mess during the ceremony. It didn’t help that we were out in the blazing sun at noon in July. Due to my stellar planning, it was a whopping 117 degrees.

Mishap #2 was that as soon as Mike started feeling better, I came down with the bug. It didn’t keep either of us down too much. We still had fun exploring and seeing shows.

Mishap #3 occurred when we decided to walk the entire strip. We walked from the Treasure Island to Excalibur and back, popping into every casino along the way. We checked out their pools, casinos, shops, and everything. This was an incredible journey that I decided to take on… in flip flops. Genius move again on my part.

The black flip flops that I was wearing actually embedded themselves into my feet. I didn’t even realize this was happening until after we got back to the hotel. I had to use tweezers to remove parts of the sandals from the soles of my feet. I wish I would have gotten a picture! #BloggerFail

Burnng Love.

Needless to say none of these things ruined our honeymoon. We just laughed everything off and made sure nothing would get in the way of our celebration. After all, the wedding is just a small portion of the lifetime of marriage ahead of us. I married my best friend and that is what matters.

As a person who suffers from frequent urinary tract problems, I had to be extra careful on our honeymoon. They have the cute nickname “Honeymoon Cystitis” for a reason. Due to all the extra intimacy going on, us lucky women are more prone to UTI’s and painful burning.

Cystex® PLUS Urinary Pain Relief Tablets are the only OTC UTI medication with an antibacterial agent that helps to contain the progression of the infection while you wait to see your doctor. They also help reduce the pain and burning sensation with an analgesic. I am never without these pills. They help tremendously when a UTI flares up and you have to wait for an appointment. Plus, you get to pee florescent orange which is kind of fun. 😉

If you are like me and have ongoing UTI issues, you can benefit from Cystex® Liquid Cranberry Complex. It’s a sugar-free alternative to drinking cranberry juice everyday. Consider it a form of prevention and a way to promote urinary health.

This isn’t the most glamorous topic, but it’s important to know that you are not alone. This is a very common problem among women, so don’t be embarrassed if it happens to you!

Just watch the Cystex Burning Love music video to see that we can laugh about this. Warning: the catchy tune will be in your head all day.

Thankfully, I didn't have "honeymoon cystitis", but I've had cystitis and infections. They are horrible and painful. I'm glad there's a product out there that can help control it. It's the pits.

Yeah... I had "honeymoon cystitis". It really, really sucks! I wish I'd had Cystex on that getaway, believe me. Blech.
